The conscious mind writes our autobiography but the unconscious mind does most of the work. The unconscious mind is quite smart.
Emotions are not separate from reason, they are the foundation because they tell us what to value.
We’re not primarily self contained individuals, we are social animals, not rational. We emerge out of relationships. We are deeply interpenetrated with others.
